AIRYBO Privacy Policy
Effective 2026-10-30
The short version
AIRYBO is built on a principle we call keep nothing. AIRYBO exists to hold references for a short, bounded time — and then to delete them, permanently. We do not build a profile of you. We do not sell your data. We do not show you ads. We do not send push notifications. When something you captured expires, it is irreversibly deleted from our active systems: no archive, no trash folder, no restore path, no history.
The rest of this policy explains, in plain language, exactly what we do hold while you use AIRYBO, why, and for how long.
1. Who we are
AIRYBO™ is an ephemeral, neutral reference layer operated by B'tle LLC ("B'tle," "we," "us"), a limited liability company registered in New York. You can reach us at support@airybo.com.
This policy covers the AIRYBO website, web application, and mobile applications (together, the "Service").
2. What we collect, and why
Account information. When you create an account, our identity provider (Clerk) collects your email address and, if you sign in with Google or Apple, the basic profile information those providers share (such as your name and email). We use this solely to authenticate you and operate your account. Your subscription tier is stored in our own database.
Content you create or capture. Shelves, items, references, and notes you create or capture exist in our systems only for their bounded lifetime (see Section 4). Captured references are held for short, fixed windows that the product displays to you at all times.
Public broadcast activity. When a creator publishes a public shelf, we record aggregate, non-identifying view and capture activity on that public surface so creators can understand how their published shelves perform. These analytics are computed only from public broadcast surfaces. We do not build behavioral profiles of individual users, and we do not track your activity across other websites or apps.
Technical and error data. Like most services, our infrastructure providers process standard technical data (IP address, browser type, timestamps) to deliver the Service, and we use an error-tracking service (Sentry) to diagnose failures. Error reports are used only to fix the Service.
Payment information — we never see it. Subscriptions are sold through our payment provider, named at checkout (see Section 6). Your payment card details go to our payment provider, not to us. B'tle LLC never receives, stores, or processes your card information. The only thing our systems learn from a purchase is which subscription tier your account holds.
3. What we do NOT do
- We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
- We do not run advertising, ad tracking, or third-party marketing pixels.
- We do not build advertising or behavioral profiles.
- We do not send push notifications. AIRYBO has no notification engine; the Service only responds when you open it.
- We do not convert your expired content into a hidden archive, soft-deleted folder, or permanent history.
4. Retention and deletion — how "keep nothing" actually works
Every shelf or item you capture carries a visible expiry, shown to you as an absolute timestamp inside the product.
When content expires, an automated background process permanently deletes it from our active systems. This is a hard deletion of the content itself — the reference, notes, and payload are destroyed, not flagged as hidden. There is no user-facing or internal restore path.
Two narrow, contentless records outlive the deletion:
- A contentless marker (an identifier and expired status only — no content whatsoever) is kept for a short window so that a link to expired content can honestly say "this has expired" rather than "this never existed." The marker is then purged automatically.
- A metadata-only event log (which record was deleted, when, and why — never the content) is kept as an operational audit trail and as proof that the deletion happened.
Deleting your account. Account information persists for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from the Account page on the web, and in the Airybo apps when they are available; if you can't sign in, email support@airybo.com and we will complete the deletion within 30 days. Deletion is immediate and permanent: your account, your captures and Shortlist, your shelves, and your Shelf Report are deleted at once, and nothing can be restored. If you aired public shelves, they are retired and their contents deleted at the same moment; their links show only a notice that the shelf is no longer available — never its contents — and that notice itself is removed after a bounded period. Public shelf links you aired are never reassigned to anyone else. Afterward, only the contentless records described above remain, together with anonymous platform-wide totals that identify no person. You can sign up again at any time; a new account starts empty.
Routine infrastructure operations (such as short-lived database backups maintained by our hosting providers) may briefly retain copies as part of standard disaster-recovery practice before they age out; we do not use these to restore expired content, and no restore path from them is offered.
5. Service providers
We use a small number of infrastructure providers to run the Service, each processing data only to provide their function to us:
- Clerk — account identity and sign-in (email, Google, Apple).
- Render and Vercel — application hosting.
- Sentry — error tracking.
- Our payment provider — merchant of record for subscription purchases (see Section 6).
We do not authorize any provider to use your data for their own marketing.
6. Purchases and our payment provider
Paid subscriptions (currently AIRYBO Pro) are purchased on the AIRYBO website. The seller of record for these transactions is the payment provider named at checkout. It processes your payment, handles applicable sales tax or VAT, issues your invoice, and manages refunds under our Refund Policy. Its handling of your payment data is governed by its own privacy policy. Charges will appear on your statement under its name.
7. Cookies
We use only essential cookies and similar technologies required for authentication and session security. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Because AIRYBO deletes expired content automatically and permanently, much of what other services would hold about you simply does not exist here. You can delete your account yourself at any time (see Section 4). For anything else — such as access to your account information and active content — contact us at support@airybo.com and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law in the country where you live.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children. You must be at least 13 years old (or older where local law requires) to create an account.
10. Security
Content and account data are protected in transit and at rest by our infrastructure providers' security controls, and all product rules — including expiry and deletion — are enforced on our servers, not left to the client application. No system is perfectly secure, but our strongest security feature is structural: we keep as little as possible, for as short a time as possible.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version here with a new effective date. We will not weaken the keep-nothing commitments described in Sections 3 and 4 without clear, prominent notice.
